REUTERS/Steve Marcus The global beverage giant Coca-cola has announced that it will hire 1:1,000 additional workers to the Florida and Nevada locations of its Miami, Orlando, Miami-Dade and Orange counties.

The expansion will create more than 1,600 jobs in Florida and 1,400 in Nevada, according to a statement on the company’s website.

The company expects to have 1,300 employees at all three locations by 2019.

The announcement comes as the global beverage company is expanding operations in two of the world’s most expensive markets.

Coca-Cola said it plans to open its new distribution centers in Miami, Florida and Orlando, Florida in 2019.

It is also working to expand its distribution network in both cities, according the statement.
